Overlooking the craters in Queen Elizabeth National Park

With only a couple of days left in Kaihura we are busy packing, finalizing projects, and saying so long to friends. I am sure a month or so from now I will be able to really sit and think through our time here, but for now I will simply share with you some of my favorite highlights from our life and work here in Uganda.

One of my favorite highlights working in Kaihura was having the opportunity to invest in Bringing Hope’s staff through our leadership courses.

One of our leadership classes in session

Christmas with the Home Again children was always a blast.

3 legged race

Games are a big part of Christmas day, and the three-legged race is always a highlight

Rejoicing with communities as they received clean water for the first time was always a wonderful experience.

Kisangwa Well

Praying over the fresh, clean water in Kisangwa

Getting to know and work alongside all of our volunteer teams has been a blessing.

All of our Know Think Act volunteer teams have served and loved alongside Bringing Hope to the Family so well.

We really enjoyed the relationships we made with other missionaries and celebrating American holidays with them.

Thanksgiving in Uganda with friends

These are just some of the highlights of a lifetime of memories. Can’t wait to see what’s in store next!
