Faith Kunihira is an exceptional woman. As the founder of BHTTF she has done an incredible job of giving back to and pouring into the community of Kaihura and the surrounding areas.
Faith is an incredibly passionate person, someone who can be proud of the changes being made in her community, while still having a vision and work ethic to keep moving forward and striving to love her community fully. She is continually thoughtful, and can be a force to be reckoned with. Looking around Kaihura it is easy to see how much BHTTF has done to improve the quality of life for the people living here.
The Tumaini Awards is an organization that honors individuals or organizations in Uganda who are working hard to improve the lives and wellbeing of children in their community. This year, in June Faith Kunihira and BHTTF were not only nominated, but were selected as award winners of this year’s Tumaini Award for all of the hard work they have done for the children in Kaihura and the surrounding communities.
We are so proud of BHTTF and especially Faith for all of the time, energy, and hard work she has done to impact the lives of those in her community.
